Ordinance of Baptism
After you have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, the Bible shows that baptism is a public expression of a new Believer. "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Romans 6:4 KJV
New Member Class
Every quarter, a class is held for new church members for introduction to Eastside Baptist Church, and to Southern Baptists.
If you are new to Southern Baptists, you'll learn what we believe, and how churches in the denomination work together to grow God's kingdom.
Bible Study
A disciple of Christ never stops learning and growing. Eastside encourages all adult members and children to attend Bible Study to continue Christian growth and maturity. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
Shine by Serving
Eastside encourages its members to serve and fellowship in and beyond the Worship Service.
